The Breakfast Nook, at 1532 Land O’Lakes Blvd in Lutz, is hosting a Benefit Spaghetti Dinner on Friday, December 9, at 6pm, for FIRST Tech Challenge Team Duct Tape, an award winning community based high school level robotics team from Odessa, FL.
Team Duct Tape, comprised of public, private and home schooled students from Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco counties, is a FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) robotics team that has been a consistently high performing group of students, earning a spot at the State Championship each year since its founding in 2008, and competing at the FIRST World Championship in 2010.
Proceeds from the Benefit Dinner will help with new season expenses like robot parts and competition fees. Tickets are $10 and include spaghetti with marinara sauce, meatballs, salad, bread and dessert. Team members will be serving the meal, and guests can see their robot and learn more about Team Duct Tape’s FIRST experience.
